Honestly, this place deserves a five, but it's lacking in a few amenities for now. I'm happy to bump it back up to a 5 once the construction is done. As it's been indicated, some of those lacking amenities will be available. I was looking for just a table to sit while my kids were in a community room robotics class. I would prefer not to be on my laptop but I needed to use it at this time and the only place I could find was in the skating rink because wall receptacles were not anywhere close to any chairs or tables. Hopefully this hasn't given up my secret spot, but if it helps someone else out I'm good with that. The staff are generally friendly but have to work with what they have there. The facilities themselves are great and the staff are informative.

Building is clean and the ice is great BUT the showers are abysmal. Absolutely unusable. I don't mean they aren't good. I MEAN THEY ARE UNUSABLE. if you're lucky there will be one shower head that will mist water at you while the other doesn't work at all. If you're unlucky there won't be any shower at all after your game. Bar is excellent with great pizza. But the shower problem makes this place the WORST.

Beautiful multi use arena with lots of different programs going on from: figure sharing, sledge hockey, to of course hockey. Nicely designed complex that just wowed me the first time walking into this place. Everything is very clean and organized. Lots of amenities nearby to pass the time away in between games. Will look forward to our next game at this location. thanks

Very nice sports complex with a bunch of rinks. Ice is generally decent, some of the benches could use some repairs. Change rooms are a little small but usually nice and clean. Staff for the Oakville rec league are very nice and the league is well-run.

Sixteen Mile is the nicest hockey facility I've ever seen that can't sharpen skates. I play there in Rec league every Monday. I ask every year. They just keep saying "we don't have skate sharpening, we used to". I can drink there, I can eat there, I can play hockey on 4 ice pads. But I can't buy a roll of tape or sharpen my skates. They're still using Covid as an excuse. Absolutely brutal. My hometown rink that had holes in the roof could sharpen skates, Sixteen Mile is really making me go to the mall to get it done...

Incredible facility with 4 rinks including Olympic size ice, an accessible rink (for both players and fans) and two regular pads. Facilities such as coffee shop and pub are typically only open during "busy times" but the ice is in use ALL the time. Seems our games are always scheduled when the pub is closed and even when it's supposed to be open, it's often not.

Outside the sport complex is an outdoor calisthenics/bodyweight gym. It has tons of equipment/bar set ups for you to use. You can get pretty creative with the bars, however there are instructional diagrams for the uninitiated. It is almost always empty, or usually 1-3 other people there max. Tons of fun to use, absolutely free. It’s in a relatively quiet area, so it’s quite a peaceful place to workout at. Best of all, you get to be outdoors whilst working out. What more could you ask for?! For anyone who’s into calisthenics, this is a solid park in Oakville! 🤙🏼
